We find the small bolster incredibly practical in a yoga class – clients like to sit on it, Also wonderful for supporting a painful back giving relief when placed under the knees. This support allows for deep relaxation and rest whilst in Savasana (prone relaxation pose).
Also, lying with your head, shoulders and spine, along the bolster has many benefits. This is a great pose to simply relax deeply in to, by following your breath. It helps to improve digestion and gently stretch your diaphragm and abdominals.
