Sunshine Yoga & Health has recently discovered this wonderful jewel nestled at the top of a natural eucalypt forest with stunning views through the Glass House Mountains out to the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay.
Located on the D’Aguilar Range between Wamuran and Woodford, it is only an hour’s drive north from Brisbane. It is an isolated off-the-beaten-track location with four stunning wood cabins each with their own fireplace, stunning view, and patio.
We are offering a ‘woman’s only’ retreat providing a peaceful , relaxing and fun weekend away. We will be offering our usual nourishing yoga and meditation sessions, along with options for a pottery making session with Sue, the owner of this beautiful property, free time for walks, chats, or time alone soaking up the recharging energy from nature. We will have a masseuse on hand and a guest speaker.
As this will be a small group of just 8 woman, we will be organising shared meals. It is such a fun and relaxed way to share and interact with each other and this venue is perfect for this more casual program.

Payments/deposits are non-refundable. A replacement person is acceptable, if cancellation is necessary.
This is an add-on service for additional nourishment and wellbeing. Dani, our Thai Masseuse will be available for massage.She is an experienced therapist and provides 1-hour treatments. She is very passionate about the therapy she provides. Booking an appointment with Dani prior to the retreat is advisable. Private Health Insurance claims can be made. The cost is $85 per hour.
There will be a flexible program for this weekend, however we have added the itinerary as a guide.
EXAMPLE OF 3-DAY RETREAT
3.00pm Settle in to your room, have a wander around the gardens
4.00 – 5.00pm Let’s introduce ourselves and have a chat over a hot cup of chai tea …
8.00pm Meditation before bed. Silence until breakfast
7.30am Energisation exercises outside on grassed area quick bush walk to the waterfall
10.30am to 12.30pm Clay Sculpture workshop with Sue
Lunch & Free Time Massage available at this time
3.30 to 5.30pm A flowing yoga routine with yoga nidra
8.00pm Meditation before bed
7.30am Energisation exercises and a bush walk
9.30 to 11.45am Flowing movement, yoga and breath, a guided relaxation and farewell circle.
12noon A cuppa and bite to eat before heading home
Uluramaya Retreat Cabins are beautifully appointed, with amazing views to the Glasshouse Mountains and the Sunshine Coast. Each cabin has a fireplace and ensuite. Also a wonderful patio looking out over the bush with soothing bird song. The peace and the quiet is oh so nourishing.
