Sunshine Yoga Classes … “Experience the Power of Gentleness”
Sunshine Yoga & Health classes are:
… 1.5 hours duration
… a varied slow, flowing yoga routine each class
… 15 minute guided relaxations at the end of every class
… pranayama, breathing exercises and breath awareness with focus on the diaphragmatic breath
… a little qi gong which adds gentle and relaxed movement to the session
… energisation exercises (Ananda Yoga) from time to time
… psoas muscle releases for back pain
Sunshine Yoga’s unique style is born from several decades of Lyn’s personal yoga practice and experience with many types of yoga. Slow, focused, linked with breath is her focus. Her style gives one the opportunity to withdraw and connect with oneself from the inside out.
This class is suited to both male and female, with an age range from about 40 to 85 years.
It is such a pleasure these days to have science validate all that we yogi’s have known for centuries. Scientific trials are now showing us how slow, focussed and gentle yoga and meditation, including a whole food balanced diet, assists tremendously with depression and anxiety.
