Sunshine Yoga & Health classes are 1.5 hours and include a variety of yoga routines, 15 minute guided relaxations, meditation and most importantly, breath awareness throughout the session, with focus on deep diaphragmatic breathing.
Sunshine Yoga is a unique style developed by Lyn’s several decades of yoga practice and teaching. It is slow, focused, linked with breath – giving an opportunity to withdraw and connect with oneself from the inside out. It creates health and well-being on all levels. It creates flexibility, power and strength.
Science, through legitimate trials, has proven the incredible health benefits received from gentle yoga, relaxation and meditation. Many doctors and health professionals now recommend the practice of yoga and meditation for such illnesses as depression and anxiety and for rehabilitation after injury or accidents.
